Road repairs based on the condition of the whole affected area

We provide road surface repairs across the UK, assessing potholes, broken patches and worn sections before quoting. The work is planned around the road layout, surface condition and access requirements.

A damaged road can disrupt access even when only a short section is affected. Potholes, deteriorated edges and uneven patches may occur where vehicles turn, brake or pass through a narrow entrance. Looking at how the road is used helps put individual defects in context.

H. Evans Road Contractors Ltd assesses road repair enquiries on site. We discuss the affected sections, surrounding surface and the routes vehicles need to use during the works. For isolated defects, local repairs may be appropriate; a more extensively worn section may warrant a wider surfacing discussion. The agreed proposal is described in a written quotation.

Suitable for

  • Roads
  • Private access roads
  • Commercial routes
  • Farm access roads

What we assess and repair

  • Potholes and broken patches

We assess damaged areas together, including the edges around each defect. Several nearby holes may need a different repair scope from a single isolated pothole.

  • Worn sections and road edges

Entrances and narrow routes can suffer wear along their margins. Tell us where vehicles regularly pass or turn so the assessment considers the actual use of the road.

  • Connections to the surrounding road

Existing repairs, changes in level and nearby covers all influence the scope. Flag standing water or repeated failure so these issues can be discussed rather than overlooked.

Access, permissions and traffic arrangements

Explain whether the road is private or public and who manages it. Necessary permissions and traffic arrangements must be identified before work is agreed, including who is responsible for them. Tell us if this is the only route to properties or premises so access restrictions can be discussed clearly.

Risk Assessments and Method Statements supplied before work starts.

What to send with your enquiry

Include the road location, ownership or management details, approximate damaged lengths and clear photographs. Note vehicle types, busy periods and any access restrictions. If you have specifications or permission requirements, supply them for the site assessment.

You can attach up to five site photos when requesting your free quotation.
