Road & Line Markings

Clear markings for parking, access and site movement

Road and line markings for car parks, roads, schools, retail parks and industrial sites — parking bays, directional markings and safety lines applied to a clean, durable finish.

Clear road and line markings help people understand where to park and how to move around a site. Faded bays and unclear directional lines can make a car park harder to use, especially where visitors, delivery vehicles and pedestrians share the same space. Renewing the markings can make the layout easier to read.

H. Evans Road Contractors Ltd provides road and line markings for car parks, roads, schools, retail parks and industrial sites. Our work includes parking bays, directional markings and safety lines. Whether markings need refreshing or you are planning them for a newly surfaced area, we assess the surface and discuss the layout before providing a written quotation.

Markings to suit the way your site works

  • Parking bays and car park lines

Defined bays help organise parking and make better sense of the available space. Let us know whether you want to retain the existing arrangement or discuss a different layout, and bring any site plans to the visit.

  • Road and directional markings

Directional markings help communicate vehicle routes through roads, entrances and car parks. The proposed positions should reflect the actual traffic flow and any existing site management arrangements.

  • Safety lines for working sites

Lines can help identify routes and boundaries around industrial premises and other busy sites. Tell us which areas need to be distinguished and how the site operates. Markings support a clear layout; they do not replace the site's wider safety arrangements.

Surface preparation and an agreed layout

The condition and cleanliness of the surface affect marking work. At the site visit, we can discuss worn markings, recently laid tarmac and areas where the layout is unclear. Confirm the intended positions before application, and tell us which parking spaces or routes will need to be kept clear while work takes place.

Risk Assessments and Method Statements supplied before work starts.

What to send with your enquiry

Include the site address, photos of the current markings and an outline of what needs renewing or adding. A layout drawing is useful if you have one. Mention whether the surface is new or existing and whether the site is a school, retail park or working industrial premises with specific access needs.

You can attach up to five site photos when requesting your free quotation.
